This is the most critical period of time for your puppy to learn the fundamentals of obedience and house manners. This time doesn't last long so this program is designed to cover everything your puppy needs to learn before moving into the next stage of their development.

DOGS FROM AGE ​6 MONTHS to ONE AND A HALF YEARS
During this period of time your dog will probably be acting like a human teenager. It will seem like they have forgotten everything you taught them. But don't worry, with lots of patience, this program will help you handle that extra energy your dog is exhibiting and bring them back to focus and calm. I call this time the terrible teen years, but don't worry, it doesn't last long.

Learning advanced tasks challenge your dog’s mind. Your dog will learn to walk through a crowd without fear, deal with other dogs, work with distractions and follow cues at a distance.

  • Reactivity to people, moving objects (bike, scooters, and cars.)
  • Separation anxiety/crate training.
  • Desensitization and counter-conditioning.
  • Resource guarding.
  • Quit biting you and your family. (bite inhibition).
  • Stop chewing inappropriate items.
  • Resource guarding.
  • Stop pulling on the leash (loose leash walking).
  • Stop lunging/growling at people/dogs passing by.
  • Biting, barking, begging, digging, jumping up.
  • Socialize effectively with family, strangers, men and children.​

​POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT TRAINING.

Positive reinforcement training ​allows you to communicate clearly with your dog. When you reward your dog for doing things correctly, it's more likely they will repeat those good behaviours. If they're misbehaving it's likely they just don't understand what you want from them.

PUNISHMENT IS NOT ALWAYS CLEAR.
