Hello! My name is Sue Rennick and I'm CRAZY about dogs! I've spent most of my professional career in the teaching and educational field and decided over a decade ago to take my knowledge and expertise and apply it to my life-long passion of working with dogs. I always had dogs growing up and enjoyed them so much that I knew I would get a dog of my own the minute I could when out on my own. Living in Toronto as a young adult I went directly to the Toronto Humane Society where I fell in love with my first rescue. Kelsie was quite a special little doggie. She was found roaming the streets of Toronto fending for herself. I adopted her, brought her home and had my first experience working with a dog that had behavioural issues. She weighed 10 lbs. with all her ribs sticking out and was so withdrawn from humans it took her weeks before she even acknowledged I was in the same room as she was. I promised her that I would not give up on her. She inspired me to learn everything I could related to dog behaviour and training. After many weeks of obedience training and trust and confidence building she grew into the most loving, sweet little girl I could have ever asked for. I enjoyed this experience so much that I then went on to welcome two more rescued dogs into my pack. My family has been a part of the Oakville/Burlington community since 2001 and I'm looking forward to meeting you and your dog. I am committed to showing you how to use force-free, simple training techniques to effectively communicate with your dog and create a mutual love, understanding and respect for each other. I only use positive reinforcement techniques that are backed by the most up-to-date scientifically proven methods.
