What Makes This Training Different

Training sessions are structured weekly to provide stability during a time when your dog is adjusting to a completely new environment and routine. Meeting consistently helps build trust, reinforce learning, and prevent confusion that can happen when expectations shift too quickly.

Training focuses on helping you develop effective communication with your dog — clarifying expectations, responding thoughtfully to behaviour, and guiding your dog through new routines and environments at a pace that supports confidence and learning.

After each session, you’ll receive written follow-up notes outlining what we covered, along with clear, step-by-step guidance so you can confidently continue between visits.

Ongoing support is available between sessions and beyond. You’re welcome to reach out by text or email, so you’re never left guessing how to handle new situations as they arise. Over time, force-free training creates mutual understanding, trust, and respect — helping you and your dog build a strong foundation together.

After your initial program is completed, additional sessions are always available if you’d like continued guidance or wish to build on your dog’s progress.

Investment

Training begins with an initial in-home consultation. This first session allows us to meet in person, review your dog’s background and adjustment so far, and determine whether the program is the right fit before moving forward.

Initial In-Home Consultation: $160
This consultation is the only investment required upfront. During our time together, we’ll assess your dog’s history, current behaviours, routines, and your goals, and outline the most appropriate plan for your household.

If you choose to continue, adopted dog training is delivered as a structured 6-session in-home program designed to provide consistency and time for your dog to settle, learn, and build confidence. Sessions are scheduled weekly so progress can build steadily.
